'Run, Gopala...’ starts July

Dileep after a couple of months will start shooting for a new film as an independent hero.

The actor who has been the lead name which led to the war in MACTA, was busily engaged for the shoot of the AMMA movie ‘Twenty:20’, for which he was functioning as the executive producer.

‘Run Gopala Run’ which will start by this July is directed by Deepu Karunakaran. The movie will be a funny thriller which will present hilarious situations all through with laugh minute comedies.

The movie with plenty of chases and thrills will be produced by Sasi Ayyanchira, who was all the part of the big issue involving Dileep and Thulasidas, as the producer for whom Thulasidas was planning the Dileep movie.

Mammootty pull back from ‘Guru'

Director R Sukumaran (of 'Paadamudra' fame) had been for long, finalizing everything for his new film 'YugaPurushan' based on the lives of legendary social activist, Sree Narayana Guru. He was planning to have Mammootty in the title role and even the actor had given an initial nod to the project.

Prithviraj's first release of the year 'One Way Ticket' made a grand opening in more than sixty centers, all across Kerala. This is a record, as far as Prithvi’s movies are concerned, which normally makes a release in less than fifty centers. The highlight of the movie is definitely Mammootty, who is playing a short cameo as himself in the movie.

Lal joins ‘Kurukshethra’

Mohanlal will join the sets of 'Kurukshetra' today. Directed by soldier-turned film maker Major Ravi, the movie has already started canning its shots from the 13th of this month at the difficult terrains of Kashmir.
